TEFLIN International Conference

International Conference on ELT, the 55th TEFLIN International Conference.

TEFLIN is a professional organization which stands for the association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language in Indonesia.

The members of TEFLIN are institutions and individual teachers of English in secondary and tertiary educational institutions in Indonesia as well as instructors in non-formal English courses. The objective of TEFLIN is to provide English teachers with opportunities to share and discuss contemporary issues, trends, and development in language teaching, learning, and research. TEFLIN also aims to provide directions to the changes in the current development of English language teaching in Indonesia.

To achieve its purpose, TEFLIN conducts annual international conference organized by its member institutions. The conference is a major event and attended by around 500 participants from institutions all over Indonesia and abroad. The speakers at the conference are invited scholars, university lecturers, and secondary school teachers.
